Necessary privacy storage
essex_consent_v1 is a first-party localStorage entry used to remember Necessary, Analytics, Marketing and Preferences choices, version and update time. It expires in the application after 180 days and is refreshed when you save a choice. Necessary features remain available when optional categories are rejected. If storage is blocked, the page can honor a choice in memory but it may not persist.
Optional Roof Leads storage
When the Essex public key is configured and both Analytics and Marketing are allowed, the tracker may write rlc_vid, rlc_sid, rlc_last, rlc_attr, rlc_first and rlc_landing to first-party localStorage. These store a random visitor ID, session ID, activity time, campaign attribution, first touch and landing page. A session expires after 30 minutes of inactivity or changes with a new campaign. The other SDK entries do not have a fixed automatic expiry. Withdrawing either consent removes these entries on this site.
Security verification
When configured, Cloudflare Turnstile loads for inquiry verification as a necessary security feature. It processes browser and request signals under Cloudflare’s terms. No claim is made here that every deployment uses an identical set of provider cookies. Inspect the deployed configuration when Turnstile is enabled and update this inventory if new storage appears.
Tools not currently installed
No Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, advertising pixel or preferences personalization script is installed by this build. Reserved configuration fields do not cause those services to load. The website does not implement call recording. A call-button event, when permitted, records a click only and does not establish that a call connected.
Change your choices
Cookie Settings is available in the footer. Rejecting optional storage does not prevent calling, emailing or requesting a roofing assessment. Global Privacy Control keeps marketing disabled. Browser-level controls may also clear or block storage; clearing the consent record makes the site ask again.
